In short yes I believe you should backup your Xbox 360 games or any other console game. I personally have firsthand experience in breaking my video games and it's not a nice feeling and it has also left me out of pocket as I have had to have gone and bought the same video game once again, which I could have spent the money on other things, so at the time I wish I knew how to backup my computer games but now I do and this is why I'm sharing the information with you.
If you want to copy your games it's perfectly legal as long as you're the owner and you're doing it to make sure you have the backup just in case you damage the original, you also no longer have to worry about spending hundreds of dollars to play the copied games because you won't have to buy any specialist equipment.
Years ago you would have needed to buy a piece of hardware which is known as a mod chip to play these duplicated games. The modulation chips were very expensive and finding someone who knew how to install this piece of hardware was also expensive and half the time the people carrying out this service had no idea in what they were doing. Thankfully technology has changed and all you will need these days is a computer with the ability to copy disks, you will also need blank disks, the original game and software to copy the game, a tutorial on how to backup Xbox 360 games is also very useful.
